Field Trips to Pellegrini Orthodontics

Dr. Pellegrini smiles with our patient MeganOral health and tooth position have a major impact on your overall health. We'd like to invite 1st through 5th grade students from local schools and the area's Cub Scouts, Brownies, Boy & Girl Scouts and Boys & Girls Club to visit our office for a 1-hour field trip to learn about orthodontics and oral health. Your group will get to meet with Dr. Pellegrini and the Pellegrini Orthodontics' staff, learn about the science behind orthodontics and engage in hands on activities.

Students will participate in:

• Learning how to take oral impressions by practicing making thumb impressions
• Learning how Dr. Pellegrini prepares for placing braces through a technique called Indirect Bonding
• Walking through the process of a New Patient Exam
• Discovering how wires and brackets are used to moved teeth into their correct position

Different topics addressed include: oral and overall health, nutrition, sports safety and orthodontics. Field trips to our office are a great way to earn Dentistry badges!

Most field trips are scheduled for Wednesday mornings.
