Pumpkin Carving Contest 2010

We just have to say WOW! We received an incredible response for our first Pumpkin Carving Contest, from our patients of Pellegrini Orthodontics and from the community. We wish we could post all of the pictures, because each entry was fantastic. Since we can't post all of them, we tried to assemble a collage of some of our patient's entries. We'll be announcing the winners in a separate post, but please know that we consider each of you winners! Job well done.

October Is National Orthodontic Health Month

October is National Orthodontic Health Month! Because October is also a month full of candies, sweets and treats that may not be good for your orthodontic health, the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) is offering you some tasty and excellent alternatives to the chewy, sticky and hard candies that are not good for your braces.

At Pellegrini Orthodontics, we believe that just because you wear braces it doesn't mean you have to avoid all the sweet treats available during Halloween season. It just means that you have to make smart choices.
