Opening Week at Pellegrini Orthodontics

We are thrilled to announce the official opening of Pellegrini Orthodontics on 128th St SW in Everett, WA. Our office is completely remodeled and although we may be slightly biased, we think the results are incredible. We hope you feel right at home in our new office space. Be sure to schedule your complimentary consultation with us by calling 425-374-8218

To see a collection of images from our new office, be sure to visit our office tour.

Of course, none of this could have been possible without an amazing team of individuals and services that each had their hand in our renovation. First, the amazing duo of Lori Saleba and Yuko Matsuura at Office Wraps began the process of designing our new floorplan and finishes months ago. Their expertise and diligence in listening to our needs resulted in a space with great flow and undeniable comfort.

Our contractor, Kelly Newbold, went above and beyond the call of duty. His attention to detail and unparalleled knowledge of dental spaces, proved time and again to be a huge asset in the execution of our new office. He oversaw a skilled team of sub-contractors and managed to finish our space on time and on budget. To anyone who has ever been involved in a project like this, you know how important those two factors are. We HIGHLY recommend Nu-Bold Construction and Office Wraps to any professional or medical team looking to begin a remodel or ground up project. They will exceed your expectations.

In the coming weeks we will be hosting an open house where we will invite our local dental community to tour our office. To confirm you are on our mailing list, please email us at info@everettbraces.com.

Floors Are Down, Paint Is Up!

Since the last remodel post, we saw the rest of the cabinets and finish carpentry take shape. This week we also saw the flooring put down, in both the treatment area and the reception areas. The tile in the front was finished, and all the colors of the office unvelied as the paint went on the walls and cielings. We also had the glass go up in the kids area and the records room. We are really starting to see the finshed office come to life. Our digitail Panoramic/ Cephalometiric radiograph machine and all other dental equipment is also being installed.

Yesterday our new sign also went up. The sign was created by Creo Industrial Arts, based in Everett, WA. Creo Industrial Arts is a premier fabricator of environmental graphics and custom architectural signage. Creo Industrial Arts has the skills and expertise to manage a wide range of projects, from monument signs and marquees to complex, multi-million dollar mixed use retail developments with hundreds of graphic elements.

We are just one step closer to our opening date of August 3! To schedule an appointment, please contact us at 425.374.8218!

Custom Mounts For Above-Chair Flat Screen LCD TVs

Over the last few weeks, we have been looking into mounting arms for the LCD tvs that we are having installed on the cieling above the treatment chairs. Unfortunately, we have not found any that are sleek enough and that are angled correctly for patient veiwing from the treatment charis. After a little frustration, we decided on the solution: Make them. So Dr. Pellegrini decided to hit the shop and machine them with his father. After some father-son quality time together, they had them all finished and ready for Kelly and the Nu-bold construction team to mount to the support that he will be installing above the cieling.

Let The Demo Begin

Kelly Newbold and Dr. PellegriniThe buildout of the new Pellegrini Orthodontics office is officially underway. Last week, Pellegrini Orthodontics selected Nu-Bold Construction Inc. as our general contractor and they wasted no time in beginning demolition and starting the construction on our new space.  The demolition crew provided a blank canvas and within a week, all the framing is in place and the we can begin to see our new office layout take shape.

More About A General Contractor
Nu-Bold Construction Inc. is a full service medical and dental general contractor. Nu-Bold Construction is owned by Kelly Newbold. The role of the general contractor is to spearhead the construction, renovation and/or demolition of a project. A general contractor usually is responsible for the supplying of all material, labor, equipment, (engineering vehicles and tools) and services necessary for the construction of the project. To do this it is common for the general contractor to subcontract part of the work to other persons and companies that specialize in these types of work. Since Pellegrini Orthodontics is on a very tight timeline for opening, it is imperative that all scheduling be mapped out and subcontractor work be organized and timed out perfectly. We are relying on the experience and knowledge of Nu-Bold Construction to bring our design visions to life and keep our build-out on track and on time.

Technically Speaking…or “Technologically Speaking”

Today we are exploring the technological and wiring aspects of the office by reviewing different proposals from Low Volt specialists. We are planning on using the latest digital technology in this office, so this important aspect needs to be a specifically integrated part of the design and construction plans. As such, we are deciding on some of the features that our office will have; Some ideas include: Nintendo Wii gaming systems in the gaming room, complimentary internet café (that parents and those in the waiting area are able to enjoy while a child or sibling is being seen by Dr. Pellegrini), digital radiographs and digital imaging systems, and virtual treatment records, digital models. Lots of decisions…lots of wires…and eventually, when all is said and done...Lots of fun! Stay ‘tuned’ for more!
